We rolled out the stacks: years of production-used bus shelters, the kind that were printed to be destroyed. 2SHAE went through them one by one. He stopped at 8 MILE.

It fits. Chris May’s work has always turned hard experience into bold, graphic imagery, and he’s built his name across walls, tattoos, and large-scale murals all over Los Angeles. Handing him a story about earning your voice felt less like a choice and more like a match.

The poster is in his hands now. What comes back will be one of one.
