CHEV
Brent “CHEV” Patten is a self-taught Sacramento artist who started writing graffiti in the mid-1990s. He has tattooed professionally for more than twenty-five years and co-founded Forever Tattoo in midtown Sacramento in 2002. His work has been shown in group exhibitions and in a solo show in Cantù, Italy, and his large-scale spray-paint murals are part of Sacramento’s Wide Open Walls festival. Decades into a career spent on skin, he keeps coming back to the can, and to the letters he started with.
